Principles of the NEAT Curriculum

The NEAT curriculum is rooted with the child but has an eye to the future

•Includes real life experiences

•Provides opportunities to broaden horizons

•Is influenced by the child and their interests/passions/ needs/ skills

•Will include a hook to engage students with the context, knowledge, topics to be covered and an outcome wherever possible

The curriculum at Central Walker supports and promotes the culture and climate of our school – we aim to nurture, engage and challenge our pupils through a broad, rich, deep and balanced curriculum which is accessible to all pupils.           

Innovation, aspiration and resilience are at the heart of our curriculum thinking and we are proud of the work we have done to generate a creative curriculum to enthuse our children and help to produce lifelong passionate learners.
